Action. It’s not all it’s cracked up to be.

There’s this great quote by Rumi…

“When I run after what I think I want, my days are a furnace of stress and anxiety; if I sit in my own place of patience, what I need flows to me and without pain.”

Abraham-Hicks talks about this all the time too. Don’t take action until that action comes easily to you. Until that action seems completely logical. Until that action flows effortlessly from you. What they’re saying is, it doesn’t always serve you to take action right away. Especially if you’re coming from a place of desperation. It’s better if you listen (see last week’s blog…)…

and wait for the right path to light up for you.

As we all know by now, the Law of Attractions states “That which is like, on to itself is drawn.” So, the things you want, the things you desire, the things you’ve ‘put out there’, are already on their way to you. The three-step process is: 1. Ask, 2. Universe answers and it’s on its way to you, 3. Get out of the way.

That step three is the part where you wait and watch the path light up for you and guide you to those things you want. When we immediately take frenzied action, we tend to veer off the path. We find ourselves trying to force something to happen. We find ourselves in a place of stress and anxiety because the things we want to happen are not happening, or the things we want to come to us aren’t coming. But here’s the thing, Universe is providing it in a better way than we can possibly imagine, and…

By taking frenzied action, we’re mucking up the process.

What if we followed the three steps to the letter. What if we asked, then knew those things we asked for were on their way. And then, what if we sat back with delicious expectation and watched and listened until we saw that perfect path light up and guide us to those things Universe is providing? What if we didn’t take action…

Until that action was effortless.

In Munay….

I'd love to hear from you!
