In a recent quote from Abraham-Hicks, they said: “We’re asking you to trust in the Well-Being.” And it got me thinking. This whole Law of Attraction thing…at least at the start…is a big leap of faith. You have to trust. You have to trust that there is only a stream of good. You have to trust that all you have to do is ask. You have to trust that your thoughts are powerful attractors. You have to trust that joy and love and appreciation for all things around you will make a difference. You have to trust that if you do these things, all good will come to you. You have to trust that it’s okay to just get out of the way and let it happen.
You have to take a leap of faith.
The problem is, that leap of faith feels like you have to let go of control. It’s scary. “I’m supposed to just put my wants and desires out there and just trust that the Universe is in divine order and that, if I do this, everything I want will come to me?” Yikes.
We live in a society that is based on control. We think, in order for the things we want to come to us or happen to us, we need to wrestle the situation down, to control all aspects of the situation. We have to set goals. We have to follow the rules step by step. We have to struggle to get what we want. We have to MAKE it happen.
But what if taking that leap of faith was making it happen…
